The free B2 check is a short version of a mock: Listening, Reading and Language, marked straight away.
Any approved B2 test for a UK visa: IELTS for UKVI, PTE Academic UKVI, LanguageCert SELT, Trinity ISE II or PSI Skills for English. The mocks test the same four skills at B2. They are our own questions, not past papers from any test provider.
How is the B2 line worked out?
Our B2 line is two thirds of the marked questions right in Listening, Reading and Language. Writing and Speaking get an estimate on the IELTS band descriptors; B2 for IELTS for UKVI is 5.5.
How does the guarantee work?
Sit all four B2 mocks, the last at least four weeks after the first. If your last mock is below our B2 line and no higher than your first, we refund the £49 in full. Only your first sitting of each mock counts. Or ask for a full refund within 14 days of paying, for any reason.
Do I need an account?
Yes. Your mock results are saved to your account, so you can see your progress and so the guarantee can be checked without sending us anything.
We do not promise any result in a real English test or any visa decision.
