Trinity's tests are approved in the UK only, so they are not an option in Pakistan.
How long each step takes
Booking: GOV.UK says you should be able to sit within 28 days of booking, but not always at the nearest centre.
Results: PTE usually within 2 days; LanguageCert 3 to 5 working days; PSI usually 3 to 5 days.
Your result gives you a SELT reference number to put on your visa application. It counts for two years.
Decision: GOV.UK's usual time for a partner or spouse visa applied for outside the UK is 12 weeks; work, study and visit visas, 3 weeks.

At any of the 66 approved centres on the Home Office list dated 9 October 2026: 15 in Lahore, 11 in Karachi, 10 in Islamabad, and others in 10 more cities, including Faisalabad, Peshawar, Mirpur and Gujrat.

Is a SELT taken in Pakistan accepted for a UK visa?
Yes, if the test is on the approved list for tests outside the UK and you sit it at an approved centre. The result counts for two years before the date you apply.
