Which IELTS test are you taking?

Listening and Speaking are the same for both. Reading and Writing Task 1 differ, so we show yours first.

Academic Task 1

Describe a chart, table, process or plan in at least 150 words. About 20 minutes.

General Training Task 1

Write a letter that covers three points in the right tone. At least 150 words, about 20 minutes.

Task 2

Both tests. An essay giving and supporting a position. At least 250 words, about 40 minutes, and worth twice Task 1.
